Headquarter of the National Agricultural and Food Centre is located in the cadastre of the municipality Lužianky, approximately 6 km from the centre of Nitra. The NPPC is accessible by public transport and there are two direct bus services available. No 8 bus with a bus stop at the Research Institute for Animal Production and No 21 bus. With the latter it is necessary to get off at the bus stop Lužianky, Rázcestie Vinárska and walk about 10 minutes to the institute. A very helpful landmark is the shopping centre METRO, from which is the institute about 300 meters in the direction to Hlohovec.
